The Marsh is a family-owned full-service restaurant located in the South Shore. We are a from-scratch kitchen, and our menu is built around fresh ingredients with a strong emphasis on supporting local vendors and producers. We strive to be a presence in the Marshfield community by supporting other local businesses, creating a place where people can gather, and building a meaningful restaurant that will last for generations. Meet the owner

We'd love to introduce you to Omar and the Laroussi Family! Omar's passion for the restaurant industry started when he was just 17, working as a server in Braintree. What began as a job quickly turned into a love for hospitality.

Although he originally set out to pursue medicine at UMass Boston, Omar couldn’t stay away from restaurants. All through college, he continued serving and managing a pizzeria, which prepared him for the next big step. After graduating in 2016, he and his twin brother bought their first pizzeria in Abington, then opened another location in Holbrook. In 2023, Omar proudly took over The Marsh.

When he’s not at the restaurant, you’ll find Omar spending time with his family, watching the Celtics, or exploring new restaurants as the foodie he is. He’s always up for a good conversation so if you see him around, don’t hesitate to say hello! 👋
